CVE ID: CVE-2012-4839
Description: The ClearQuest Web (CQ Web) client is vulnerable to a Phishing Through Frames Attack in the OSLC interface system. This vulnerability was found in one particular OSLC dialog.

This vulnerability does not exist in the ClearQuest desktop clients or command line utilities. This vulnerability only exists if the CQ Web Server is deployed.

ClearQuest Web server version 7.1.2.0 through 7.1.2.8 or version 8.0.0.0 though 8.0.0.4.
Remediation/Fixes
Upgrade to ClearQuest version 7.1.2.9 or 8.0.0.5.

Workarounds and Mitigations
Workaround: None
Mitigation: If you are not using OSLC, then do not initiate or respond to any ClearQuest OSLC dialogs. If you are using OSLC, do not respond to OSLC dialogs unless you have initiated the communication using valid ClearQuest web server URLs for your deployment.
