Abstract
License Metric Tool changes the discovery method for a number of legacy IBM components. All of these components are older than 10 years and no longer supported.

Due to this change, License Metric Tool 9.2.33 (planned to be released at the end of 3Q 2023) requires that scans are run by using the scanner in version 9.2.31 or later to maintain discovery of these components.
Action required:
If your License Metric Tool is reporting discovery of any of the components that are listed in the attached file, upgrade the scanner to version 9.2.31 (released at the end of March 2023) or newer on the computers where the affected components are installed. Complete this action before you upgrade the License Metric Tool server to version 9.2.33 or newer.
If, in rare cases, any components from the list are not discovered even with the new scanner, contact us at catalog@pl.ibm.com to receive alternative discovery tag files that allow for proper discovery.
