Problem

Attempts to run a CICS application compiled using Enterprise COBOL for z/OS version 5 results in the abend error "ABENDU4093 RC=3EC".

Symptom

ABENDU4093 DFHAP1301 ABENDASRA ABEND0C4 CEEPL24 +X'7C' DFHPI1005 ABENDAPIG

Cause

Missing CSD definitions.

Inspect the latest PTF level for data set CEE.SCEESAMP(CEECCSD). See

Resolving The Problem

Ensure you are using the latest PTF level for CEE.SCEESAMP that was shipped with z/OS 1.13.0 or 2.1.0.
