Resolving The Problem
This document describes how to restore the jobs that appear on the Work Job Schedule Entries (WRKJOBSCDE) screen.
There is an object in library QUSRSYS called QDFTJOBSCD that contains the entries of jobs that reside on the WRKJOBSCDE screen. This object can be saved and restored. The object type is *JOBSCD. The following command restores the job scheduler object which contains the scheduled jobs:
Restoring the object will cause the next submission date to be updated correctly for each entry.

RSTOBJ OBJ(QDFTJOBSCD) SAVLIB(QUSRSYS) OBJTYPE(*JOBSCD)
Restoring the object will cause the next submission date to be updated correctly for each entry.
Note: The QDFTJOBSCD can be saved to be used at a Previous Release as long as the new functions at the higher release are not being used. If there are new functions being used at the higher release, the SAVOBJ TGTRLS(*PRV) will fail to save the object.
