Why does createOrder API not consume the reservation for a tag controlled item?
Cause
The reservation is created without the Inventory tag details but the order has the tag details, since there is no matching inventory tag element f0r the reservation the order does not consume the reservation.
Answer
In OMS we do not determine the tag number to use. It's always up to the implementation to determine either at order capture for an always tag controlled item or at shipment confirmation for sometimes tag controlled item.
For always tag controlled item, we expect input to have the tag number and shipment to specify which one is being shipped. For sometimes tag controlled item, we don't determine the tag ever and the demand never has tag until shipment, which needs to be specified manually.
