Abstract
IBM® is removing QRadar Vulnerability Manager (QVM) external scanner from IBM Cloud® as the product is end of service. This notice is intended to advise administrators that use QVM external scans (DMZ scans) previously added as firewall exceptions can be removed after DMZ external scanners are deprecated from IBM Cloud.

Important: QRadar Vulnerability Manager and servers discussed in this technical note are end of service as of 30 April 2023. The release of QRadar 7.5.0 Update Package 6 is removing functionality and deprecating external scan servers from IBM Cloud. IBM® is removing QRadar® Vulnerability Manager external scanner service from IBM Cloud. Administrators who previously allowed connections in their firewalls or proxy configurations can remove legacy host names or static IP addresses for external vulnerability (DMZ) scans which are considered end of service by IBM.
