Troubleshooting
Problem
User runs a standard report (also known as a 'system report'). User receives an error message.
Symptom
QE-DEF-0157
The model or package /content/package[@name='Frango on Collinsd']/model[@name='2005-08-12T07...] does not exist or you are not allowed to use it because of security settings.
Cause
There are several possible causes for similar errors.
- TIP: See separate IBM Technote #1371336 for more scenarios.
This Technote specifically relates to the scenario where the error message's @name refers to a value different from 'Controller'.
- For example, in the above message it refers to 'Frango on Collinsd'
In this scenario, the cause was that the administrator had accidentally changed the value of 'Package' to something different (inside Controller Configuration).
Example #1
If the package is changed to something else (like 'this_is_a_test')...
...then that name ('this_is_a_test') will appear inside the report:
Example #2 (special exception)
If the package is changed to be <blank> (in other words, these is no entry defined for the package name)...
...then this causes the special package 'Frango on Collinsd' to be used (by the system):
Resolving The Problem
Change the value of 'Package' to 'Controller' (inside Controller Configuration).
Steps:
1. Logon to the Controller application server
2. Launch 'Controller Configuration' (from the Start menu)
3. Open the section 'Report Server'
4. Modify the value of 'Package' to: Controller
5. Save changes
6. Test.
