Is promising server mandatory for IBM Sterling Order Management sharded deployment?
Answer
If the sharding is per enterprise" and each enterprise maintains its own Inventory, then a promising server is not mandatory.
However, if the sharded enterprises" only have transactional data and inventory/availability is maintained by another "Enterprise", then promising server is mandatory.
