POWER based ppc64 or ppc64le HMC Firmware
ppc64 or ppc64le - describes the Linux code that is compiled to run on Power-based servers or LPARS (Logical Partitions).
For use with HMC on POWER model 7063-CR1 with minimum HMC Version level of V8R870.0 only.
The firmware levels available for installation are found on Fix Central under the Product Selector 7063-CR1 and MC825.
The firmware contains the following images:
.pnor (Power firmware image)
.bin (BMC image)
pUpdate (tool binary)
Details on the package binaries, installation, and requirements are included in the firmware readme file for each version on Fix Central.
