Troubleshooting

Problem

Planning Analytics Workspace becomes inaccessible frequently.

Symptom

-- Restarting the Planning Analytics Workspace containers doesn't resolve the issue.
-- Deleting and recreating containers makes the environment work again.
-- The environment becomes inaccessible again roughly after 15-30 mins.
-- The issue is environment-specific.
-- The wa-proxy.log over the impacted server contains the following errors.
StatusCode: 503, error: {message: 'Error: connect ECONNREFUSED 172.21.0.5:8082'

Resolving The Problem

In one scenario, the issue was triggered due to a security patch disabling IP forwarding over the Linux server. Removing the patch helped resolved the issue.
