PK71847 resolves the following problem:
ERROR DESCRIPTION:
Installing to a location with parenthesis in the path name, as is the default in some Microsoft Windows operating systems, will cause a partially successful installation, and prevent a number of commands in the <appServerRoot>/bin directory from operating correctly.
Creating a profile with non-English characters as input to the profile creation process will cause the profile creation to fail.

Installing to a location with parenthesis in the path name, as is the default in some Microsoft Windows operating systems, may cause a partially successful installation, and prevent a number of commands in the <appServerRoot>/bin directory from operating correctly.
Creating a profile with non English characters as input to the profile creation process will cause the profile creation to fail.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
This APAR fixes two problems:
- Allows the commands in the <appServerRoot>/bin directory to operate correctly.
- Allows the profile creation with non English characters as input to create successfully.
