PI18933 resolves the following problem:
ERROR DESCRIPTION:
On certain inbound SIP messages, the SIP Proxy reports a parsing error which results in an "Internal Server Error" message sent to the client.
LOCAL FIX:
none
PROBLEM SUMMARY
USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server V8.5 Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Proxy Server.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The SIP Proxy is unable to parse the message. It results in an "Internal Server Error" response.
RECOMMENDATION:
None
The SIP Proxy is unable to parse the message. A parsing error occurs in the routing information portion of the message. It results in an "Internal Server Error" response.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
We fixed the code to catch the parsing error.
