Troubleshooting
Problem
When running the TN3270 server in a stand alone address space (separate from the TCPIP stack), occasionally the operator console gets an outstanding reply for message TSS7150A.
Cause
TSS7150A is issued from the Top Secret product from Computer Associates. This will occur for programs or address spaces that have not been identified to the product with the MASTFAC attribute. Consult the vendor's documentation to determine the complete set of conditions that can trigger this message.
This can occur for any server that performs userid validation, such as the FTP server (FTPD), INETD server, OpenSSH (sftp, sshd), Web server (HTTPD), z/OSMF, or certain configurations of the TN3270 server (such as having the RESTRICTAPPL statement). A validation failure for the logon (such as a mistyped password) can cause this prompt.
Resolving The Problem
The TSS ADD(region acid) MASTFAC(facname)
command can be used to add this attribute. Consult the vendor's documentation for more details.
