Features and specifications

  • 2.8, 3.0, 3.2, 3.4, 3.6, or 3.8GHz Intel Xeon processors (2MB advanced transfer L2 cache)
  • 800 MHz(1) FSB and Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology (EM64T)
Memory
  • 1 to 4 GB of two-way interleaved PC2-3200 ECC double data rate (DDR2) SDRAM RDIMM memory supports up to 16GB
Hard disk drive (HDD)

Support for Ultra320 SCSI or Serial-ATA (SATA) (depends on model)

Choice of open bay hard disk drive (HDD) configurations:

  • Four 2.5-in hot-swap Ultra320 SCSI (up to 292 GB)
  • Two 3.5-in hot-swap Ultra320 SCSI (up to 600 GB)
  • Two simple-swap SATA (up to 500 GB)

  • IDE controller supporting DVD-ROM

  • Two full-duplex Broadcom 5721 Gigabit Ethernet PCI controllers
