Question & Answer

Question

NOI: "Seasonal Event Rules" page cannot be opened due to the following error message "Multiple Impact connections defined; Analytics pages are not properly displayed"

Answer

You can keep both Impact connections defined, but try the following in order to assign one of them for your "Seasonal Event Rules" page in DASH:

 1) Edit the "Seasonal Event Rules" page -> you have in the right corner at the bottom of the page the option to edit it

2) Select the widget and from the "Widget" menu select the "Edit" option. Alternatively you can right click on the upper margin of the widget and select "Edit"

3) From the "General Settings" section -> select one of the 2 connections for the Impact data provide that you want to use for your Seasonal event rules page and click Save.

4) Open the page again and you should see the page being displayed correctly.

In case you want both connections to be used for your pages, this only works if they are part of the same Impact cluster, in which case you can follow the recommendation described here:

https://www.ibm.com/mysupport/s/question/0D50z00005phwMV/how-to-configure-event-analytics-in-dash-to-handle-the-impact-cluster-ncicluster?language=en_US

This will involve configuring a load balancer in front of your Impact cluster and to configure the DASH to the Load Balancer.
