Problem
Receiving error message testing report expression with trunc() function against an Oracle database using Dynamic Query Mode (DQM).
Data item expression: trunc(current_date,'Month')
Although trunc() is a supported function, the error "XQE-PLN-0098 The vendor specific function "trunc" is not supported." occurs when using this expression.
Cause
The issue is caused by current_date function used within trunc() function.
Resolving The Problem
Options to avoid this error are to replace current_date with a function compatible from the data source, such as Oracle, or
use alternative function for trunc().
