New root CA (Certificate Authority) certificate must be installed before 29 January 2018 to continue using SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER to retrieve IBM z/OS platform PTFs
Users Affected:
All users that use the SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER command to retrieve PTFs and HOLDDATA.
Description:
The server certificates for the RECEIVE ORDER servers are being replaced with new ones from DigiCert. This will cause SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER to fail with SSL authentication error beginning 29 January 2018 unless the DigiCert root CA certificate is installed on your system.

https://www.ibm.com/support/techdocs/atsmastr.nsf/WebIndex/FLASH10884Option 2: Beginning 29 January 2018, use Shopz to order PTFs until the new certificate is installed. For more information, see the Shopz User's Guide topic about z/OS Service:
http://www.ibm.com/software/shopzseries/ShopzSeries_public.wss?action=hgservordsOption 3: If you have access to ServiceLink, the Service Request and Delivery (SRD) function can be used to order PTFs beginning 29 January 2018 until the new certificate is installed.
