Resolving The Problem
Here are the steps to remove a .jar file that prevents new Java classes from being loaded properly. This should establish a connection between the Time Window Analyzer widget and data server.
In Tivoli Business Service Manager environment, please rename or backup/remove the jar. If you rename the file, ensure that the extension ".jar" is removed from its name:
On data server,
-<Impact installation folder>/lib3p/com.ibm.tivoli.tip.oda.ws.client.jar
After doing so, restart both Data and Dash servers for Tivoli Business Service Manager (Impact/JazzSM). This should allow Time Window Analyzer widget to communicate with data server again.
If you see a warning with code CTGBH0100W, it means that Time Window Analyzer was able to establish a connection with data server. You need to gather metric data on the server for the graph to start displaying.
If at any point, something goes wrong due to removal of above jar, revert the changes performed in this technote and contact us and we can assist you further.
