Abstract

You might experience the following error during post deployment configuration of Db2 HADR (or VIP) pattern:
“SQL1768N Unable to start HADR. Reason code 7”

Content

  1. You complete Db2 HADR (or HADR VIP) pattern deployment.
  2. You stop Db2 instance by using the db2stop (force) command manually or in some automated script package.
  3. You start Db2 instance by using the db2start command manually or in some automated script package.
  4. After Db2 instance starts, you might experience the HADR start error while connecting to the database by using Db2 connect.
