Problem
When a report is used as report template, data items get removed from report.
Symptom
Template is missing report elements.
Cause
When a report is converted to a template, any query-related information in the original report, such as data items, calculations, and filters, is removed from the template.
When an Active Report is converted to a template, query-related information that is removed also includes variables, connections between controls, and interactive behavior. However, variables, connections, and interactive behavior that use data items that were created in static controls remain in the template.
