Abstract

This page details the information needed while raising an issue or ticket with MaaS360 support for Windows phones.

Content

Gather the following information to create an issue with MaaS360 support.
  • Account:  Account Number
  • Issue:  Brief description of the issue
  • Error:  Any error message received
  • Screenshots/Videos: Please collect any visual information in order to identify the issue.
  • Details:
    • An in-depth description of the issue that is being experienced.
    • What you are trying to do, versus what it is that they are experiencing in our system.
    • Can you replicate the issue? If so, what are the steps to replicate?
    • Approximately when did the issue occur? (for locating the issue within the logs.)
  • Username:  Portal username of a device being troubleshot
  • Device Name: Portal device name of the device being troubleshot
  • OS Version: Operating system version of the device
  • Make/Model: Make and model of device being troubleshot
    • Note: It's better if we can get screenshot from phone settings -> system -> about page -> device information which will include OS version & model number.
  • App version: Version of the MaaS app installed on the device
    • Agent (Company Hub) version number (if issue specific to Company Hub)
    • PIM version number (if issue specific to PIM)
    • Docs version number (if issue specific to Docs)
    • Secure Viewer version number (if issue specific to SB)
  • MDM Policy: Policy assigned to the device being troubleshot or test policy which was created to troubleshoot the issue
  • Persona Policy: Persona Policy assigned to the device being troubleshot or test policy which was created to troubleshoot the issue
  • Ruleset: Ruleset assigned to the device being troubleshot 
  • T/S:  A detailed step by step process of any steps taken to troubleshoot an issue.  This should include the steps taken as well as the result of these steps.
