Problem

Guardium email alerting - How to create, remove or edit Guardium alerts.

Symptom

Example Header (existing alert):
"(ibmVM43) Guardium Alert. Severity: (LOW), Alert Name: TEST- Guardium Admin Logi"

Example (goal):
"Severity: (LOW), Alert Name: test login"
In this example, the Guardium, hostname was removed from the header

Resolving The Problem

In order to remove the Guardium hostname or other values from an alert, Custom (Named) templates for alerts can be created in Global Profile.

Setup > Tools and Views > Global Profile

under the ' Customize real-time alerts and email ' section.
