Content Store backup fails with CM-REQ-4313

Troubleshooting


Problem

Previously, it was possible to do a full content export but, now, it fails with an error.

Symptom

CM-REQ-4313 An error occurred during an export operation.

Diagnosing The Problem

Resolving The Problem

The issue was with the user account information and orphaned AD accounts in the content store. 
Run a consistency check (find and fix only) against the content store and this should highlight the reason why it fails. Here are the steps...
  1. Sign in to Cognos Analytics
  2. Click on Manage
  3. Administration Console
  4. Configuration Tab
  5. Content Administration
  6. New Content Maintenance
  7. Consistency Check
  8. Provide a name for the check
  9. References to external namespaces (all namespaces)
  10. Finish
  11. Change Mode to Find only
  12. Run
  13. OK
