"Error getting active sandbox - no ad-hoc sandbox capability has been granted" error on TI execution

Troubleshooting


Problem

TI run by Non- Admin users fail with error
"Error getting active sandbox - no ad-hoc sandbox capability has been granted"
Same TI works for Admin users.

Cause

TI had the below code
cCurrentSandbox = ServerActiveSandboxGet();
If (cCurrentSandbox @<> '');
ServerSandboxMerge(cCurrentSandbox, '');
ServerSandboxDiscardAllChanges(cCurrentSandbox);
SetUseActiveSandboxProperty(0);
Endif;

Resolving The Problem

Login to Architect
Right Click on the TM1 server
Select Capabilities Assignment
For the Capability called Sandbox apply Grant status for all groups
Click ok
