This document will help to collect information for MEG related issues

Steps

  • Description of the issue
  • Scale of the issue
    • When did it start, how often?
    • How many users, devices and resources (websites, shares) affected?
    • Was it related after any software update on Mobile Device or MEG server?
    • If MEG runs in HA mode, details about how many nodes are affected
  • Details
    • Date, time, user name(s), device type(s) and name(s)
    • If only some users/device types/devices/resources are affected, provide working and non-working examples to compare
  • If possible and applicable, a video from the mobile device with step-by-step actions or screenshots with the problem
    • If only some users/devices are affected, working and non-working examples are required for comparison
  • Cloud Extender logs which has Mobile Enterprise Gateway configured
  • Mobile device logs - see links below
  • Environment details
    • Windows version where MEG is installed
    • Any firewalls, proxies, Load Balancers, VPNs, Anti-viruses, security software etc. installed on the MEG machine?
    • Screenshots of the Cloud Extender Configuration Tool might be useful in specific situations
    • AD/LDAP details if the issue is related to authentication problems
