Effective July 31st , 2020 (was April 30th , 2020), IBM will no longer support IBM XIV Gen3 software versions 11.6.1, 11.6.1.a.
- Software version replacement available. In order to continue to get IBM support, customers still using these software versions must upgrade their systems before this "End of Support" date is reached.
- Customers, please consult with your IBM representatives for the appropriate software version that is recommended for your IBM XIV Gen3 environment.
Important
The "End of Support" announcement for old software versions aims to encourage customers to upgrade their systems' software to a more current supported and updated version of IBM XIV Gen3 software that includes fixes improving the product’s reliability.
