Problem
Error adding new columns of an existing table in a Cognos FM Model
RQP-DEF-0177 An error occurred while performing operation 'sqlPrepareWithOptions' status='-205'
UDA-SQL-0191 The column "ABC" was not found in the table or view "aBmtQuerySubject"

Symptom
The column is imported in the Database layer of the FM Model and we can see tabular data but the same does not reflect in the Physical Layer hence validation of model fails
Resolving The Problem
First add the new columns under the Query subject at the Database Layer
To update the Physical Layer
1. Select the data source query subject(s)
2. Go to the Tools menu
3. Select "Update Object".
