Problem
BladeCenter QS21 system software does not recognise the InfiniBand Host Channel Adapter (HCA) at POST. The operating system is unable to load the InfiniBand drivers. The diagnostic utilities will respond with no HCA found.

The system may be any of the following IBM servers:
- BladeCenter QS21, type 0792, any model
The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM Options:
- Cisco Systems InfiniBand Switch Module for BladeCenter, Option part number 32R1900
The system is configured with at least one of the following:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, any update
Note: This does not imply that the network operating system will work under all combinations of hardware and software.

Download the new HCA firmware available at the following URL:

Please consult the readme.txt included with new firmware for directions on how to install.
