Baseboard Management Controller firmware update, targeted for release third Quarter2005.
Workaround |
---|
For the Sys Health Query command. A user can run a straight hex command 18 00 02 to do a cold reset to the Baseboard Management Controller. This will cause the Baseboard Management Controller to re-scan the system sensors. After the re-scan the correct info will be reported.
For the Blue Light command. A user can run a straight hex command 00 00 04 to do an Identify command to the Baseboard Management Controller. This will cause the Baseboard Management Controller to light the blue identification LED for the default of 15 seconds.
