During POST, some memory DIMMs may become disabled.
Affected configurations |
---|
The system may be any of the following IBM eServers:
- an xSeries 365, type 8862, any model
- an xSeries 365, type 8861, any model
The BIOS level affected is:
- version 1.10 or earlier
Solution |

The behavior is corrected in BIOS version 1.12 or later. Click here to download and install BIOS version 1.12 or later.

The behavior occurs during POST. It has not been observed during the normal operation of the system but may occur during the normal operation of the system.
During POST some of the DIMM memory modules when used with 16 DIMM memory boards, replacement part number (FRU) 73P7210, may be disabled due to multiple bit errors.
Workaround |
