The new IBM xSeries 4U Universal Tape Library offers unprecedented customer value and flexibility for the diverse environments, and a common modular architecture that provides superior Reliability, Availabilty, and Serviceability for maximum data protection.

The Universal 4U Library comes with a three-year limited warranty on parts and labor.

Supported xSeries server configurations that include SCSI host adapter with external connection.

The universal tape library will accomodate tape storage for up to eight tape drives and 152 LTO tapes (in four stack configuration).
These new tape enclosure offers a rack dense, cost effective solution for attaching external tape drives to IBM's tower or rack optimized xSeries servers.
