200/400GB IBM LTO full height generation 2 tape drive
 The new IBM full height Linear Tape Open (LTO) drive provides a cost effective solution for IBM eServer xSeries server customers looking for an efficient tape product. This single drive, provides convenience and ease of use. This drive is a generation 2 tape drive that capitalizes on growth of Storage Area Networks (SANs) and tape automation due to transition from direct attached to network attached storage.

This drive features:

  • Up to 35MBps transfer rate
  • Up to 200/400GB capacity
  • SCSI-3 Interface
  • Backward read capability to generation 1 cartridges at 33% faster read rate.

Warranty
3 years limited warranty. Customer Carry in Exchange/repair (CCE/CCR)

NOTE: 3 years on parts, none on labor unless installed in external enclosure or server, where it picks up warranty of enclosure.
