Abstract
Procedures for installing the CD-ROM drive in the xSeries 306 server.

Text from the audio portion of installing the CD-ROM drive movie
To install the CD-ROM drive:
- Position the CD-ROM so that the pin in the frame engages with the hole in the drive
- Rotate the drive down and position the spring retainer in the two holes in the drive and secure it under the latch.
- Position the slot in the interposer card over the tab on the frame and seat the connector.
- Secure with the single screw.

To install the front bezel:
- Place the alignment tabs on the bottom of the bezel into the cutouts on the server and rotate the bezel up until it latches into place.

To install the cover:
- Position the cover over the server, while aligning the posts on the cover with the cutouts in the chassis.
- Slide the cover to the front and secure with the single thumbscrew.
