Decision Optimizer (DO-TM1) Connector works, however crashes using larger datasets

Troubleshooting

Problem

When using the Decision Optimizer (DO-TM1) Connector, it works without when using smaller datasets.  When using larger datasets, the Connector crashes.

Resolving The Problem

As the problem only occurs with larger datasets, it is likely that the resources allocated to the JVM for the Connector is not sufficient.  Use the following steps to increase the memory allocated to the JVM used by the DO-TM1 Connector:
  1. Open your do-tm1_connector.bat file
  2. After the text '%TM1_INSTALL_PATH%\bin64\jre\7.0\bin\java' add the following: -Xmx4096M
    • For example:    %TM1_INSTALL_PATH%\bin64\jre\7.0\bin\java -Xmx4096M -Dlogfile.name=%~sdp0connector.log -jar do-tm1_connector.jar %~sdp0 %*
  3. Save the changes
  4. Re-test to see if the problem persists
If the problem persists, gradually increase the -Xmx setting to a higher value.
