Getting started with Blueworks Live: How to join an existing account, or create a new account

General Page

Most users join an existing account to take advantage of the powerful collaboration features for users in the same account.
IBM employees are entitled to join existing and create new IBM-internal accounts.

If Blueworks Live is used in your enterprise, ask your coworkers to invite you to their account(s). Else sign up for a 30 day free trial.  You can invite your colleagues to the trial account and later upgrade to a full account.

  • For a Client account, contact Sales to obtain a quote. There are special conditions for academic and educational use.
  • IBM Business Partners must also contact Sales to obtain a special Partner account.
  • All IBM employees are entitled to join existing and create new IBM-internal accounts.
    • To get your own IBM-internal Blueworks Live account, sign up for a 30 day free trial. If you are already registered with Blueworks Live through a different account and you still want to create a 'New' IBM internal account, open a ticket with IBM Blueworks Live support.
    • Provide your IBM email address at the registration. The system will identify you as an IBM employee and ask for details of your IBM organization.
    • Choose between creating your own account, or joining an existing IBM account.
    • You receive an email with welcome passcode, which is only valid 30 minutes. Wait for welcome mail and activate your new account
    • If account admin performs a continued business need verification, the "trial" account does not expire. Account admins get emails to perform the verification 1 month and 1 week before expiration.
