TM1 Web returns error "This Page isn't working"

Troubleshooting


Problem

After Server restart TM1 Web , Operations Console ,Planning Analytics For Workspace (PAW) and PAx stopped working.

No issue with Architect and Perspectives .
After restart PAW was able to work.

TM1 Web returns error "This Page isn't working"

PAx when attempt to connect to the server returns this error:

"Cognos.Office.Tm1.Connections.Tm1WebException: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable. ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable."

Found many Microsoft Updates from the previous day. Uninstalled all Excel updates, but PAx error still appears.

Planning Analytics 2.0.5

Resolving The Problem

1) Close all the browser sessions. Delete cookies/cache if possible

2) Open the Planning Analytics (PA) Cognos Configuration (Right click and choose Run As Administrator)

3) Stop the "IBM Cognos TM1" service

4) Go to <PA installation directory>/WLP/usr/servers/tm1/

Rename workarea to workarea_old

5) Start "IBM Cognos TM1 " service
