How do you change the Portal Web Application Page timeout value?

When there are a large number of users connected to the Portal or if there is a large amount of data being held in the Portal it is possible that the?Internet Information Services (IIS) Web Server on the RealiTea server hosting the Portal web Application times out before the?Active Server Page (ASP) scripts have a chance to complete.? To increase this time out limit (in IIS 6.0):
  1. Launch IIS Manager.?
  2. Go to IIS Manager --> Web Sites --> Properties.
  3. Go to Home Directory --> Application Settings --> Configuration.
  4. Go to Options --> ASP Script Timeout.
  5. Increase the value to 300.? This allows up to 5 minutes for a page to complete its processing.
