Blank Web page appears after over-the-top installation of 11.0.12 over 11.0.6

Troubleshooting


Problem

After doing an over-the-top easy installation of 11.0.12 over 11.0.6. Open Google Chrome Version 70.0.3538.110 (Official Build) (64-bit) and type in the URL (<http://servername/ibmcognos/bi>).

Resolving The Problem

Clear cache and cookies in Google Chrome

Steps:

1. In Chrome, click More

2. Click More Tools > Clear Browsing Data

3. Choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time

4. Check boxes next to Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files

6. Click Clear Data

Set Allow anonymous access to False in Cognos Configuration 

Steps:

1. Open Cognos Configuration

2. Security - Authentication - Cognos - Allow Anonymous access set to False

3. Restart the services
