Summary
Customer was unable to access to Planning Analytics Workspace.
To investigate the issue they also executed <Planning Analytics Workspace installation dir>scripts\Start.ps1 command to start IBM Planning Analytics Workspace Administration tool page.
However, the command interrupted with following exception message in Power shell.
"Exception occurred:
Execution failed with exit code 1
Stopping IBM Planning Analytics Workspace Administration Tool...
Exited."
There are also following messages in separate browsers from Admin page.
"Failed to Fetch Statistics"
and
Validate Configuration window shows
"An error occurred during validation."
Steps
To resolve the problem, please follow the steps below to restart paw.
1.
Windows 2016: Open a Powershell Window with the option "Run as Administrator"
Linux and windows before 2016: Open a shell as docker start user.
2.
In this Powershell/Shell move into the Planning Analytics Workspace installation "scripts" folder
3.
Windows 2016: ./paw.ps1 stop
Linux and windows before 2016: ./paw.sh stop
Wait until paw stops.
4.
After Planning Analytics Workspace stopped, execute
Windows 2016: ./paw.ps1
Linux and windows before 2016: ./paw.sh
5.
Reload the Planning Analytics Workspace admin page in the browser.
If above doesn't resolve the issue, please restart from the machine and start paw admin page from Start.ps1/Start.sh.
If any of those doesn't work, please send us the log folder under Planning Analytics Workspace installation directory.
Also, please include the output of
Windows 2016: paw.ps1 ps
Linux/windows before 2016: paw.sh ps
This will show the container's state.
