Abstract
Preserve data plan attribute for iOS 11.0 and above devices

In 10.66 release, MaaS360 offers capabilities to preserve data plan on iOS 11.0+ devices during device wipe action. An option Preserve Data Plan is listed under Wipe action in the portal.
If any data plan exists on the device during device wipe and if Preserve Data Plan attribute is enabled, then, the data consumption value is preserved on the device and is unaffected by the device wipe action.
For instance, consider on an iOS 11.0 device, T-Mobile cellular data plan with unlimited data usage is active. You perform wipe action on this device with Preserve Data Plan attribute enabled. In this scenario, device is wiped/erased while the data consumption information on the device is preserved. The image illustrates data that is used and preserved active data plan on the device.
