Release Notes
Abstract
Availability of new user interface for application portal to all MaaS360 customers and partners
Content
The new user interface (UI) was released in 10.66 for customers and in 10.67 for partners. Older customers and partners were given a toggle option to switch and try out the new UI.
From the 10.68 release, all customers and partners will see the new UI on first login. The new UI has been improved after feedback from customers. The white spaces have been reduced, overall size has been reduced and more content is now shown on the screens. The pages have been made more consistent in terms of spacing and features to make the user experience consistent across the portal. Older customers will still have the toggle option from the profile menu on the top right of the screen.
Note: In the next release (10.69), the new UI will be made generally available (GA). It will become the default UI for all customers and partners and the toggle option to switch to old UI will not be available.
Viewing an example of Device Inventory in the new user interface
More number of device data is displayed, spacing between buttons and button size is reduced to improve look and feel of portal UI.
Viewing an example of Policies page in the new user interface
The More option included in Policies page lists Show All Policies, Policy Files, iOS Home Screen Configuration, and Bulk Edit History. The function of these actions remains unchanged.
Option to provide feedback about new UI
To continually improve MaaS360 portal experience for administrators, all Direct customers will now see a feedback link to provide their comments and ideas on how to improve the administrator experience and UI in general.
In the portal, you will see 'Feedback for UI' link in the footer of the page. ClickFeedback for UIlink and you see the pop-up message as illustrated in the image below.
Email your valuable feedback to MaaS360-UI-Feedback@wwpdl.vnet.ibm.comand the subject of the email should be 'Feedback for UI'.
