MaaS360 for iOS 3.6 Release Summary

MaaS360 makes the iOS app version 3.6 is available in iTunes on 9th June 2018.

The MaaS360 for iOS app version 3.6 beta includes the following applications:

• MaaS360 core app
• MaaS360 Contacts

MaaS360 for iOS (core app) Enhancements

Support to add and view passbook files to Apple Wallet app >>

MaaS360 integrates with PassKit to support viewing of .pkpass files in the MaaS360 app. With this support, the passbook files (boarding passes, tickets, gift cards, and loyalty cards) can be imported into iPhone Wallet app format simply by downloading them via MaaS360 Docs app or email attachments.

Note: This feature is only supported in iPhones as the Wallet app is not supported on iPads.

Populating recent contacts at the top of autocomplete list >>

Autocomplete list suggests the names and email address of contacts as you type in the TO field in the compose email screen. In this release, MaaS360 displays a list of contacts in the order of recent contacts at the top followed by local contacts and then contacts in Global Address List (GAL), sorted in alphanumeric order individually at the folder level. Previously, the combined list of all the contacts (recent, local) was sorted in alphanumeric order.

MaaS360 allows users to search contacts by the contact display name. Previously, MaaS360 retrieved search results based on contact first name and last names.

Note: The contacts synced from Exchange 2010 and 2013 support display name.
