Login window does not appear in Planning Analytics For Excel

Troubleshooting


Problem

Planning Analytics servers are configured with IntegratedSecurityMode 5 to use Cognos Analytics authentication (CAM Authentication)

When Users try to access the Planning Analytics For Excel (PAx) Cognos Analytics login window does not appear.Instead Users see the blank window.

Resolving The Problem

Make sure to put the correct CAMGatewayURL in PMHub configuration :

  1. Access http://<IP of PA Application Server>:9510/pmhub/pm/admin
  2. Expand configurations and select PMHub Security

 

CAMGatewayURL must be the same as ClientCAMURI set within the tm1s.cfg file
