Troubleshooting
Problem
An Administrator has specified data security at package level in Framework Manager, published the package to Cognos Analytics and created a data set. A non admin user is able to create a dashboard against that data set and see all data.
Resolving The Problem
Row level security in an FM package is NOT retained when you create a dataset and is normal behaviour. Permissions will need to be set directly against the dataset in Cognos Analytics.
