The DOORS Web Access integration with Rational Quality Manager behaves incorrectly after upgrading to 9.6.1.10 or 9.6.1.11

Troubleshooting

Problem

After upgrading DOORS Web Access (DWA) to 9.6.1.10 or 9.6.1.11 you encounter any of the following issues:

  1. In a test plan using the Reconcile Requirement Collection feature the creation of the bi-direction link between the test case and requirement fails when using the "generate Test case" feature.

  2. When deleting a DOORS link from a test case the link is not deleted in the DOORS module.

  3. The  Test Plan Requirement Coverage view does not load any requirement.

Symptom

For Case 1 the following error message is displayed:

Failed to set up bi-direction link between the test case and requirement (2: Test Object A)hide details 2: Test Object A
AQXCM5025W The OSLC resource at https://dwahost/dwa/rm/urn:rational:6fe76b3b-e714-11e5-80e8-73257ef1dabc:1-565725b3142f60e4-O-2-0002a620 does not specify an RDF type.

For the other case, there is no error message.

Cause

The cause may be an obsolete setting named repositoryID in your DOORS database that is not handled correctly in DWA 9.6.1.10 or 9.6.1.11

Diagnosing The Problem

To check if you have that repositoryID in your DOORS database, please run the following DXL code:

print getRepositoryId()

If it returns an output like 48b2e2a6-836d-11e3-899f-55acb7dd1dbe

That means your DOORS database contains that obsolete option and it explains why you ran into those issues.
