How is MRR calculated?

Question & Answer

Question

MRR - maintenance-to-replacement ratio - will be useful if you are capturing the actual costs of the asset through work orders.
This total cost is available in the ASSETS application's > Costs section, so some data collection is required before MRR can be useful.
MRR indicates when an asset is still worth maintaining and when it is time to start planning to replace it.
The MRR calculation is very simple.
