Troubleshooting
Problem
IBM Control Center is unable to connect to a managed IBM Sterling B2B Integrator server using the long DNS name. If the IP address or short DNS name is used there is no problem connecting to the server.
Cause
The Security Provider in the runtime JRE doesn't support the use of SNI
Diagnosing The Problem
If the connection to the managed IBM Sterling B2B Integrator server fails when using the long DNS name, change the connection properties to use either the IP address or the short DNS name.
Resolving The Problem
The solution is to add jsse.enableSNIExtension=false in engine.properties file.
A Request For Enhancement, RFE ID 75913, has been created for a long term solution.
