Problem
All PAoC (Planning Analytics on Cloud) users with the role of Subscription Administrators automatically become TM1 administrators. If this is manually updated/removed in TM1 security, admin rights will automatically revert.
Cause
Recently there has been a change in the way new TM1 instances are created:
When a customer asks IBM to create a new TM1 instance, a new CAM associated group entry is created in the control cube }ClientCAMAssociatedGroups which maps the Cognos group CAMID("pans:g:Subscription Administrators") to the generic TM1 security group ADMIN.
Resolving The Problem
If a customer does not want this behaviour, they can delete / remove the association after they receiving access to their new TM1 instance.
