Audit emails are flooding Inbox even after audit report inactive or deleted

Troubleshooting


Problem

Audit emails are getting sent from Guardium at a huge rate and even after the audit has been set to inactive or deleted.  
The audit task receiver is receiving duplicate audit reports at a rate much larger than expected which is overwhelming the recipient.  Even after disabling the audit, Guardium is still constantly sending reports.  

Symptom

Inbox is flooded with emails every minute.  If more than one audit is affected, there may be more per minute.
