Troubleshooting
Problem
In the Linux version of Rational Rhapsody 8.3.1, the Help > Help Contents menu item takes you to the 8.3.0 version of the Knowledge Center, rather than the 8.3.1 version.
Cause
The variable for the help URL in the rhapsody.exe.ini file points to the 8.3.0 Knowledge Center rather than to the 8.3.1 Knowledge Center.
Resolving The Problem
- Make sure Rational Rhapsody is not currently running.
- Open the rhapsody.exe.ini file, which is located in the directory <user home directory>/.mw.<rhapsody version number>.
- Change the value of the variable HelpURL to https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSB2MU_8.3.1/com.ibm.rhp.ho…
- Save the file.
When you next run Rational Rhapsody, the Help > Help Contents menu item will take you to the 8.3.1 version of the Knowledge Center.
